Spring Semester: January 6th- May 17th
At Affinity Illinois Dance Center, we believe in teaching dance in a way that is sustainable to lifelong body health and stamina. Our passion is providing students with a healthy body mindset and image. We teach our students foundational skills in multiple dance genres, and then give them the freedom to create movement and flow through those newly acquired skills. Dance will become a creative outlet for their entire lives and will help them succeed in any avenue that their future takes them.

Class Descriptions
Dance Beginnings
Ages 3-4
45 minute class
$65/month
Dance Beginnings is a creative dance class that teaches dance fundamentals, ballet, and tap! This 45 minute class is geared for kids ages 3-4. Students will explore both ballet and tap and this class will focus on listening skills, following along, and basic class etiquette and dance steps.
Dance Jr.
Ages 5-6
60 minute class
$70/month
A creative dance class where students ages 5-6 can discover the magic of movement, expression, and creativity. Students will be guided through ballet and jazz techniques to provide a comprehensive foundation for artistic exploration.
Dance Jr. is a 1 hour dance technique class that will focus on ballet and jazz technique! Students will also learn choreography for our winter and spring performances during their class!
Beginning Dance Technique
Ages 7+
90 minute class
$80/month
A creative dance class where students ages 7+ can discover the magic of movement, expression, and creativity. Students will be guided through multiple dance genres providing a comprehensive foundation for artistic exploration.
The Beginning Dance Technique program will include 1 hour of dance technique and 30 minutes of choreography each week! Students will learn choreography for fun and choreography that they can perform on the big stage for our winter and spring performances.
Intermediate 1
1.5- 3 hours per week
$80/month (1.5 hours/week)
$110/month (3 hours/week)
Intermediate 1 is a progression from Beginning Dance Technique that is by placement only. Students will need to be evaluated for placement into this level. Students will build on skills they learned and start gaining a better understanding of how dance steps go together, transitions, technique, choreoraphy and many other skills.
Intermediate 2/Advanced
Hours vary by classes chosen
Price varies by hours/week
Intermediate 2 and Advanced is a progression from Intermediate 1 that is by placement only. Students will need to be evaluated for placement into this level. Students will focus on correct alignment, conditioning, intermediate and advanced level skills, as well as artistry.
